Certainly, it is not necessarily relevant to compare a range of input razor with a premium, but I do it anyway:
With this series 1:
- We need to make more passages to shave closely, especially because the contact surface is less important.
- It stings! It cuts less (so it takes a bit of the hair when it cut), it is less sweet with the skin (it stings after shaving).
- The grid is much more "coarse" than on my series 7.
- It is much much worse than the 7 series, I did not expect at all to such a difference.
And if not, in absolute terms:
- The build quality seems very good.
- The shaver comes pre-loaded (so you can use it right away even if it has no power outlet available).
- It is rather light, not too bulky (though there are many smaller models).
In short, I do not know if I regret my purchase. He quickly takes me find my series 7, and if I can not find it, I'll have to buy another one, because I would have a hard time using this series 1 daily. (I have another old electric shaver, Philips, which hurts even more probably because the blades are too worn, and that's comparing you realize how different electric shavers not worth absolutely not.)
