My collection must include a 50aine Star Wars sets whose main theme Original Trilogy (age probably ^^).
In 2009, on the occasion of 10 years of LEGO Star Wars, LEGO launched a major questionnaire to the LEGO Fan community to ask them what would be the sets he would most like to go out in the Star Wars theme, as well as information the scenes depicted and their contents.
2 large boxes were born of this exceptional participation of fans of LEGO Star Wars: The 8038 - The Battle of Endor and 7754 - Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser.
Two sets really essential for all Star Wars fans and collectors!
The set dedicated to the Battle of Endor is one of the most interesting included in my collection because it brings:
1. 12 minifigures: Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, R2-D2 (classic version), 2 members of the rebel commandos, 2 scout troopers, one soldier of the Death Star and 3 Ewoks!
2. A comprehensive set: A detailed Imperial AT-ST, a well-designed bunker, 1 and 1 catapult Ewok delta wing and 2 speeder bikes
3. A real pleasure mounting
4. A high playability if you intend it to children: The Imperial bunker has sliding doors and an explosive function
5. A particularly visual ensemble and very well designed, which can lead to the composition of a skit or a diorama dedicated to the Battle of Endor
If you want to increase the size of the Bunker, nothing prevents you to buy two boxes. You will be able to gather Imperial AT-ST 2, the speeder bikes Scouts, more Ewoks and recreate a battle on a larger scale.
The 8038 is a LEGO STAR WARS SET must!
