The sound itself is excellent, straight from the second half of the sixties. Several pieces stand out, including the single Shelter Song, or Sun Structures, but in my opinion, too many songs already heard: the chorus of The Golden Throne, it looks like Ton Héritage, Benjamin Biolay, and probably of Other songs, too.
Overall, the pieces schematics look a little, with an intro riff that remains more or less all the way to singing and effects that do not vary much. But at least they have melodies, same times
Specifically, in a similar register, Tame Impala is more powerful and original.
After the potential is real because the replay, the pieces end up staying in the head, even if they would do more with better melodies.
But just for the sound and the wave of cool sixties (which is my cam, I confess, otherwise I would not have been up to 4 stars but only 3), the album is worth seeing. I wait still later to see if they succeed the challenge of the second album.
