My Ipad Mini (with Lightning Cable) and my old HTC Desire S (with normal USB sync cable) can be loaded without any problems.
But my Samsung Galaxy S Duos can not be charged with this adapter!
After ettlicher research on the internet I know that this particular model of Samsung (and other Android phones) do not turn easily in the charging mode, just because voltage is applied via USB. Therefore, there is an extra Micro-USB charging cable (not to be confused with USB sync cables) which are wired differently internally and may be used only for charging.
Some manufacturers of chargers (as well as the original chargers Samsung) around this dilemma by cable already introduced by other internal wiring with a resistor, so that then each USB cable to charge your phone (and to synchronize the PC) can be used can.
In this internal wiring has been omitted in this seemingly Travel Adapter; Screw and to peek / rumbasteln not walked since the case is not closed by commercial rather triangular special screws.
Considering the price, I am disappointed that the charging my Samsung Galaxy S Duos is not possible, as this is accomplished by even very cheap chargers.
Otherwise, processing of travel charger is high quality and it is nice and compact. Because after all other phones as well as my iPad can be charged, I forgive 3 stars.
