In our household, we have for several years an Apple TV 3rd generation, which is also absolutely problem comes with our 32 Mbit line of cable Germany cope. Controller), since in addition to the convenient access to the Prime library attracted me the opportunity to play Android games. Unfortunately the Fire TV Box has a significant disadvantage: it always comes back to considerable delays when streaming (Nachladepausen), which is not understandable, however due to the wide line. We currently use Amazon Prime only on the iPad incl. Streaming on the Apple TV, where strangely everything runs without interruption and no Nachladepausen are noticing. The Amazon customer service I have over 3 weeks pointed to diesesn contradiction with the request for exchange. After seeing the standard questions all have answers (ask the router to restart, please use a certified HDMI cable, please have the latest firmware on the Fire TV install, ...) and have also ensured that these points could be ruled out, I should have the serial number and a special equipment Service number inform. Zwischenzteitlich I could incidentally Fire TV test in another household with 6 Mbit line (this time not with cable Germany, but with PrimaCom) - and here it was exactly the same Nachladeruckler. There must definitely be a fault in the device.
So I told both numbers as desired Amazon. That was state today almost 3 weeks ago. Since then I have not heard anything from Amazon, only that you "investigate" the case. So I have here an Amazon Fire TV in the living room, which I can not use with Prime (at least without every few seconds to take a forced break to recharge). From the otherwise so excellent Amazon Customer I feel overnighting extremely down. Currently, I can all who ask me, so unfortunately only guess about the Apple TV, because that does not recognize such problems.
