So far, I have had many years to Xoro HSD415 who ran fantastically and it never was a problem, so I wanted to again a Xoro, especially with VGA output for my projector. However, contrary to the data in Amazon the player has no VGA output.
More are some things I noticed, which did not exist in previous devices:
1) OSD: OSD when I start a film is always visible, that I have to pay extra for each movie Hide and which is annoying (2 times click on the OSD button, and each time the film).
2) Fade In: regardless whether music or film, it starts getting a little quieter and is then a little louder. This also happens with any function such as pause, slow motion, FF, etc., and is also very annoying because if you eg click Pause and then want to see further, the first words are so quiet that one understands nothing
3) Setup Audio: even if Downmix is set to off, I thereby can configure 5.1, the test tone is black and so I can not test.
4) Menu: The writing of the film or music tracks display is very thin and the letters to each other very far away, so it very difficult to read
otherwise a top unit! Detects all DVDs, Divx etc., good sound reproduction on the 5.1 and as much comprehensive options menu. Unfortunately, all this is useless if much is not working as it should, and just not a VGA connection is available - a pity.
