Addendum of 16/11/2014
Unfortunately, the initial excitement has settled quickly. From the WLAN problems and poor workmanship can I get further with nothing but unfortunately two points for me unacceptable and I suspect, unfortunately, that it is on Tegra:
The hangers are again more, even after several restarts. Especially if you have everything set up, you can not reset the tablet every three days to regain good performance and on the other hand, the battery life. Here I am obviously disappointed. When you play, is clear to me that the tablet after 3-4 hours is empty, that is perfectly fine but if you just use a little Amazon Instant Video or Netflix, you should already longer hold than 5 hours and here I see definitely a problem that it consumes too much for shown. The Snapdragons Qualcomm then act somewhere thoughtful, even if they might be in benchmarks behind the Tegra K1.
Right now I'm trying very hard that Tablet to return, as it was supposed to be more than just a gaming tablet for me. Just the pen inspires me still like the first day but with this battery life it's not fun.

First review from 11/13/2014:
Initially welcomed by one of a plain, not just elegant device in a typical Nvidia packaging. Power Supply, Micro USB cable, adapter for Europe and US plugs included with. A small booklet with the usual warnings of course also there with.
The device itself is through its thickness and edge but pretty good in the hand as I find and precisely because it has a slightly broader framework, one can not accidentally on display
When you turn on the device, it takes a little while to the first device. Then of course the usual Androidabfragen by Wifi, Google Account, backup & location data. If you did it, you will be greeted by an almost unchanged Android, which I personally liked it very much! It's really the standard AOSP Launcher, but with two three apps from Nvidia which can disable all if you want them. (In my case, Evernote was the only thing that has been shut down.)
Then came directly the notification for the first software update. Downloaded, installed, reboot. Next Update. Same procedure from the beginning.
Finally you could install all the apps you need, times Trine 2 start in the meantime, which is pre-installed and also daddeln something on the Shield, what really sets the mood, because the Xbox 360 Controller can be used via USB OTG without problems making and its settings in the operating system. Here Nvidia offers, among other settings for the stylus, the Shield controller and the processor clock speed, what I feel as a positive addition, because you can choose between power-saving mode, Balanced and Maximum Performance. Also there is the possibility to make their own settings. (Eg 60% CPU speed & 2 cores activated or 70% & 3 activated cores etc.)
After some herumgespiele I noticed, however, that the performance was beyond good and evil. Chrome took only 10 seconds to start, the change of Apps and jerky partially the display was not easy. So I started looking for a solution, looked like the processor overclocked whether apps had seized, launched several new but it changed nothing. Also the thing overnight off did not help. I was about to return it sat there before but once again back to factory settings. And what should I say? Since it is really running like butter and you can tell the speed of Tegra K1. No comparison with the Nexus 7 2012 Design.
The display itself is good, the lighting regularly and also the viewing angle stability. One has the possibility zwischem virgin color profile sRGB and select where in letzerem I feel that it drifts into reddish.
The built-in speakers to the front offer a good and especially clean sound, but which can miss something on bass. On the other hand: Where do the come from?
The built Stylus is definitely worth mentioning. When you pulled him out of his very strong support, a Appübersicht with applications open which are designed for the stylus operation. Including a note-taking program, Nvidia Dabbler (time & drawing) and just write. Also, a note-taking program with folder structures and slightly more features than the first.
The delay of the stylus is really minimal that I have so far experienced only on tablets with digitizers and surprised me immensely. Print width, line thickness, all that is recognized! Also there is the possibility that the hand detection is disabled and you can only work with the pen.
Considering that it is just a passive stylus, it's awesome to write it and to draw. Just Nvidia Dabbler offers an enormous number of options for doing so.
The pressure points of the buttons are now not necessarily the yellow of the egg, as just has the on-off switch no! That is why careful if you want to change the volume.
The cameras are ok if you want to take a picture of a document or even yourself for Skype receives but rather not to be used for longer.
All in all I am very satisfied with the Tablet. Both in terms of performance in games and other applications as well as the usability concerns with the pen!
And once for all as Note: If it stutter: Just looking to factory settings!
