This castle has at least a "way out" when you're afraid, that is a time just gambled the nice laptop from the booth, because you will be distracted by someone in.
There are a metal tab which you push between the gap between the monitor and keyboard / Body. The metal strip is probably made of steel and looks pretty thin, (otherwise he would not fit through the gap).
How much the metal scrap can stand I can not say, may be that it holds. At least risking the potential thief to destroy the Macbook if he tried to demolish. Whether me now calmed do not know yet. How much the cable itself endures, no idea it would have to be up against the side of a normal Schneider Leather Mans times. But my curiosity is not so great that I purpose my money out the window throw.
Actually, I'd love to be awarded 4 stars. Since there are some points for me are not so great solved:
1) You can not change the combination of the lock!
2) One can (should) not include the Macbook when the cable lock is off! The MacBooks are so well made, that does not exist for these thin flap enough space and I will certainly not zupressen with gewallt.
3) Normally, you can scratch the Macbook through the metal tab :-(
Here I have several layers of scotch tape remedied, but I'm sure that could be better dealt with this "factory".
4) four digits for security are not enough five digits would be there already a lot better. Who has ever tried the combination of 4 digits debug will determine which is which, depending on luck in a relatively short time is about 10 to 20 minutes by. With 5 digits that would take much longer already.
Positives:
1) As a plus point, I see that you can back up the Macbook now at least something that is at least better than nothing.
2) The processing seems to be good and it and the bag in which it is delivered virtually.
Conclusion:
It makes a good impression, despite the identified concerns.
I think as the product it is not 100% mature. If there was an alternative that I would even responds to the upper points take this.
Since the cable lock is better than nothing, I'll keep it for lack of alternatives, the next fair is sure to come.
