I bought this tripod for my digital camera, because I'm sick of it, to constantly have blurry images. Once it becomes a little darker and the exposure times are longer, it is hardly possible to make images so "by hand". The Hama Star 62 is my first tripod. It is very easy and has a lot of adjustment options. The camera is really rotate in any direction. All movement axes are locked, so that the camera is not pretending. At the bottom of the camera is attached a small base plate and then fastened together with the camera on the tripod. The tripod head is a hinge, so you can tilt the camera to portrait mode without to detach it from the tripod. The workmanship is neat and makes the tripod a stable fuel pressure. Star deduction from me there just for a little fiddly clamping nut of the height locking. A "Einrastklemmung" would as certainly have been better; when there is a rack on the telescopic rod because of the crank. The quick connector for the camera I've seen better before with a friend on a Hama tripod. Since the camera was simply clipped without allocating a lever. Trotdem from me it a buy recommendation for each beginners and ambitious amateur photographers.
