By cons .... We bought it for our 13 year old daughter. Its three priorities: surfer / listen to his music and to have an iTunes library to sync your ipod / her homework and print.
To the first point, do not worry: you can surf smoothly and without limit.
For the second point: can not install iTunes on Chromebook ... it not only hurt
For the third: we have a WiFi printer: the chromebook does not detect it. Then I try to connect my external DVD player on chromebook to install the driver CD version, but the Chromebook does not detect the USB port connected device. So ... have to go through email or USB key to print the duties of our daughter. There is more convenient.
There must be a way via Google Drive or cloud (and again, not sure!) But honestly, I find it very complicated. A computer must adapt to the common man and simplify daily life, otherwise why bother? .....
Amazon, very commercial on this one, proposes to pay us, and I put a 5 star Amazon customer service that has been tuned.
So in summary, it may be appropriate for people who already work only in Google / Android configuration. If unfortunately you get out of this configuration, everything becomes complicated. The incompatibility Itunes really seems a big downside for a lot of people with Ipod. The non-recognition of certain devices in WiFi or USB port, seems quite annoying too.
For the rest, it may be great, but for our use, it is not the expected computer.
