Upasika Kee (1901-1978) was a great teacher of Dharma, quite unique. His way of speaking reminds the great Ajahn Chah: down-to-earth and straightforward, refreshing and often funny. Over the twentieth century, it became one of the greatest meditation masters in Thailand, something even more remarkable that she never took monastic vows. His absolute honesty and his repeated encouragement make them a beloved figure in many contemporary Buddhist teachers. Pure and Simple is the first book of his teachings available to a wider audience.
