Now also I will (again) haunted by the electric shocks already described by other reviewers. Namely, in contact both hand pulse monitor and the plastic housing of the training computer. The ground wire is securely connected to the earth, the treadmill itself stands on a non-conductive non-slip mat, and the clothes / shoes that I wear, are normal sports equipment. The discharges are then not only easy, but do already hurt orderly - quite apart from the shock, when one does not expect such a shock.

After a long break from sports about two years I have gone back this fall with the skating. I would not describe as advanced skiers, but even as ambitious returners. In the last two months I've ever run on your mood between three and six times a week; and there may eventually times but winter is coming and I do not want to walk on snow and ice, I have gained the treadmill for my hobby room. What in my opinion, makes running compared to many other sports as pleasant is the fact that you just made as beginners, quick success. So I run, for example by only two and a half months of training 10 km without major effort and pain loose in an hour (though outside and not on the treadmill).

And this is also the point at which this treadmill sets clear limits.

But first a few general things that I noticed. After the usual uncomplicated delivery of Amazon.com (although this time by Hermes) went to the building. With few handles the treadmill within half an hour was up and running. The training computer should really be screwed with four screws to the appropriate adapter plate, however, was the hole so inaccurate (deviation more than 1 cm!) That I could fix it with two screws. Looks a bit stupid, but keeps and fulfills its purpose. The operation is relatively quiet from the engine. However, it is advisable to place a mat under the treadmill, because on my absolutely flat laminate flooring slip it in a few minutes. The size of the tread is just about ok. I measure 174 cm tall and have correspondingly narrow, so it still goes.

The adjustable speeds are adjustable in manual mode up to 12 km / h (corresponding to 5 min / km) in 0,1 km / h steps. With regard to the pre-programmed run programs' NAJA. Within this program, the previously set exercise duration, for example 30 minutes, divided into a plurality of equally long splits. The maximum speed for these splits, however, is 8 km / h (corresponding to 7:30 min / km). What I also do not like about the computer is that you have no ability to set your own program with individual speeds and duration of individual splits. Why do I miss that, I will explain later in this digression training goals.

Negative me is the training computer still noticed that the heart rate monitor is sensational unusable. For tends untrained beginners is a common training goal to be able to run for 30 minutes in continuous operation without a break. This training is, by the so-called basic endurance to strengthen 1 (GA1). Particular attention is given to the heart rate, which should be within certain limits, 'namely roughly between 60 and 70% of the maximum pulse. The maximum heart rate is calculated by the simple formula 220-age. For example, I am 30 years old, therefore my maximum heart rate is 190. In other words, my GA1 band is 114-133 beats per minute. The are reached relatively quickly, with beginners mostly already when walking or when changing between running and walking. Who does not have a heart rate monitor, it acknowledges the fact that he can talk quite relaxed and without effort while running. A breathing (inhalation or exhalation) is performed in every four steps, so for example, one of four steps and then exhale four steps. With fewer steps the pulse is clearly too high. When you train so progress can be identified quickly, and already in the fourth or fifth training you can clearly see how it is less strenuous.

Advanced who want to do more than anything to do 'only' for their health and overall fitness that have GA1 very well under control. For those who are no longer a question of creating the distance 10 km at all, but also to improve the time and prepare the body for competitive speed, another training applies. In this case, the GA2 is trained, this band is from 80 to 90% of the maximum pulse. For me it would be as 152-171 beats per minute. One possibility is, for example, the interval training. This one runs at different speeds in multiple splits. This looks, for example, so that you are after a certain warm-up 1:30 minutes full Lotte gas and then regenerated in smooth running 1:00; then one and a half minutes at full throttle, then again for one minute and slowly reduce the heart rate.

For beginners who want to do just a little bit for the overall fitness:
