For many years we are using electric toothbrushes. Starting with Braun Oral-B we have the last two years one (actually two) Sonicare (s) from Philipps used. Well we went back to the latest high-tech products from this product category, including the Pro 3000th

The cleaning result is flawless, without question. A consultation with my specialist prophylaxis revealed that she prefers the Oral-B of the Sonicare. But be both recommended principle.

The battery takes time to be fully charged. Up to 22 hours from the completely empty state. When 2 cleaning operations of 2 minutes the battery lasts one week. For two people so only 3 to 4 days. But the battery is said to have a much longer life than older versions. That would be nice, but the batteries are at Braun (as with other manufacturers of electric toothbrushes) permanently installed and can not be changed. The future is certainly a point at which all manufacturers must work. But perhaps this keeps battery also eternal.

Whether you're spending this amount for a toothbrush ready every Oral-B decides at the end for themselves. Pro 3000 is priced indeed "only" in half of the current top models of the 7000 series. And a professional dental prophylaxis is for a private patient and not cheaper. Overall, definitely a recommendation on my part.
