I use it since 2004 with the associated cleats on a moutain bike with mountain bike shoes (ie recessed cleat-attachment).
They are still mounted. Although some signs of use are obvious, they still function properly and distribute any pops. From time to time they were naturally cleaned and serviced. Here, the silver version proves to be advantageous: scratches can be seen only at close range. Over time the edges grind from the prongs. So the bruises when slipping in the shin area are not as deep.
In my routes by mountain bike many lines are, where you clicked with uniform cadence progressing better.
With practice, I had also begun clicked in rolling terrain driving.
For the one or beidseitgen quick exit from the pedals I have got used the movement of the snowplow in downhill skiing and am so far coped well.
Until it was time, I also once committed a capital rookie mistakes that I have survived unharmed. During a tough Ampelphase I sat in thought his left foot on the pedal and not noticed how easy clicks the pedal. On departure, I wanted to raise the left foot, which of course did not work and I tipped with a loud bang on the left side. The hard impact was sweetened by two young ladies who brought jumped immediately and wanted to help me stand up. To smoothen for newcomers: my adjustment period lasted barely a month, slightly more than 5 but no longer exits 10. After all operations and movements were internalized intuitively.
A very detailed and balanced review wrote clex. Here one can hardly add anything. I can complete in particular that I was able to observe the positive characteristics over a much longer period of time and confirm.
The Shimano PD-M324 is a true embodiment of the old and still valid award: Form follows function.
If you see the Shimano PD-M324 in the photo, they also act well styled. (When driving, unfortunately, you're gonna get from styling with little, because one of your feet is on.)
Moreover, their stability is not only in the camps but in the outer cage or frame. The occasional case of fast cornering light bouncing have indeed but leave scratches any deformations. It was different with the previously used standard mountain bike pedals. The had often dismantled and chucked be reshaped in a vice with hammer and powerful tool again.
Who does not necessarily pay attention to the weight and is looking for a stable product for continuous use, is well served with Shimano PD-M324. Even someone who puts on the use with normal soles and shoes with cleats value, for those are the Shimano PD-M324 a real buy recommendation.
