After a quick delivery, I was able to test the loupes a weekend in detail. I shopped the unit as support for painting miniatures. After a short settling time and trying out the various plastic lenses I could start right away. A clear magnification effect is present (depending on lens configuration), the lens offers a good field of view and the part also sits firmly on my head. That I wear including normal glasses, do not bother. The illumination by LED I will not use, but it works. For the low price I could not fault the loupes.
