I ordered these cheap replacement batteries almost exactly 2 years ago. (March 8, 2013)
Generally, a charge holding similar long as my original Canon batteries, load quickly, are fit and well made. Bin has been satisfactory. But, now after two years, falls in all my Patona batteries to a curvature of the surface, ie the battery swells and builds pressure on internally. Discard these batteries due to the risk of explosion! The batteries were all charged only with the original Canon charger and stored only fully charged. My original Canon batteries, about 6 months older than the Patona batteries, are still absolutely vault and exact fitting.
I have to mention to the fact that I still had the old and gray version of Patona batteries, maybe they have now improved. Considering the price, are the good battery, but since more batteries are bloated, I do not go out of a particular case. (With respect to the defect). Assuming that the Patona rechargeable batteries last an average of two years that Canon batteries but six years then compensates for the difference in price. In order to definitively say that, but I would again wait four years and see if my Canon batteries actually work more properly. :)
Generally, I can confirm after two years continuous service: Good, cheap and high-quality set batteries that provide up to the life of the original battery by Canon forehead. How much you really saves but considering the price, will only become clear after a few years of use.
