For a monopod cheap variety of ball head is quite enough, but be careful, because this head comes with a tripod mounting thread of 3/8 "inch, do not fit on the stand that comes with the same post. : - (( You have to read the description of the offer very carefully to recognize this limitation. But that presupposes a particular expertise, for who already knows the difference between 3/8 "and 1/4" inch. We're not British. :-)) To be fair, the manufacturer or the consignor should mitliefern an adapter to 1/4 "inches. But he does not do. And so I now remain only two possibilities. Either I'll send the ball head to the dealer back (again shipping !!) or I purchase from another dealer a pair of matching adapter for about 3 euros and then again to pay 3.90 euros shipping. So it's as hopped jumped bad for the buyer. Cute little game that you can play by mail order. What I learn from this ?? The next time I go back to my local dealer because I can then immediately stock up on the most important information for me, fondling, look, ask questions and protect me so before bad buys.
