After fast delivery, I started with the commissioning. The assembly seems easy, so that the lack of assembly instructions seemed bearable. However, when I wanted to attach the base plate to the stand, I could not get on. While it is clear that the arcuate guide slots of the plate for tilting somehow to the axis on the stand, but the mushroom-shaped shaft end was rock solid, while the slot on the other end of the axis could have put on because the local locking toggle can be unscrewed.
Since one does not go to new products by force, I wanted to ask the suppliers. The telephone number anywhere from Terrasound (035322-18528) However, there is not ("... is not assigned"). So I called the manufacturer Adam Hall at (where the part is actually more expensive) to inquire. After internal deliberations was told the bolt (the shaft) must definitely out somehow.
So with this knowledge, I was going with very great power and could unscrew the bolt with pliers as far until a combination wrench fit into the gap to remove the axis completely and put through the slots. This, however, the "mushroom edge" of the pin the problem was solved, also attacked some of the pliers.
The panel initially sat with me not level questions and remained tilted forward about 5 ° upwards. One would therefore hone the slot a little further, or have set the projector to compensate for a total of a little deeper. But ha! If you installed rotated by 180 ° the plate, it can be on both sides downward tilt and thus also align horizontally in the intermediate position. The reclaiming and Neumontieren however laboriously, because to back the "bolt action" (see above) must take place.
As one reviewer had noted, although the board would consider, but should it push you better not, I did just that easy to simulate the weight of a beamer. In fact, the stand rod bowed slightly in her pipe, so I pulled the Spannknebel little harder. It tore the enveloping plastic part, so that the rod could not be clamped. Another reviewer, the same after commissioning the same is also done, fixed the problem with a clamp. So now I have done it, because I oppose the product for useful, especially for the price. In addition, the acquisition of a clamp (1,00) easier (and faster) than the repackaging, drop off and queue at the post office counter and the expectation of replacement. The clamp holds it now bombproof and nothing sinks.
The unavailability of the suppliers I do not chalk on the product, but the contact details should be updated times.
Overall (except for the plastic parts) the tripod is very stable and practical and therefore recommended. Because of the shortcomings I forgave initially only 3 stars because it has a good price I do not want to rework so extensive - some people it could not possibly. But now that I've solved all the problems with effort and time, I appreciate the actual product but now with 4 stars.
