Then the A6000 was launched and was sniffed me over first reviews. Unlike my Purchased at Amazon 5N camera (because of the then click problem was an important right of return), I could buy the A6000 with education discount directly from Sony. Meanwhile, the price on Amazon is already including :-)
Long story short: The A6000 had a much faster autofocus, both compared to the A7 as well as to 5N. This helps especially in accelerating the otherwise rather lethargic SEL50F18. In contrast to the Spartan 5N the A6000 has just about everything the heart desires:
Integrated EVF, standard hot shoe, fill flash can be integrated which directed towards the ceiling for indirect flash lighting, 24 Mpx, better menu, Wifi & NFC (for those who need :-)), better grip, more configurable controls, more continuous shutter and Bracketingoptionen, histogram also yet still visible when setting the exposure compensation, Kitobjektiv with 16mm .....
Small downside: The 5N affects quality processed by partial use of metal parts. It rattles nothing on the A6000. The touch screen is useful for MF lenses for quick selection of the focus area to be enlarged, but often has me, annoyed because of my big nose :-) beknckten with error messages. And while the weight felt no different large, the A6000 is a good deal but become greater than the 5N, especially if at that the external EVF or flash is unscrewed. Since I have corresponding hands with 190 cm, I realized that the A6000 can last longer than the relaxed for me non-Japanese to something small 5N.
Image quality: Even using the 1650 difference to 5N is detectable at 100% Pixelpeepen. The 5N oversharpened as the Nex 7 in JPG the edges so that a white border appears. Nevertheless, it is less detailed than the A6000. My copy is the way in 1650 outstanding. At 24mm awesome, otherwise at least 1 panel should be dimmed. The 16mm 15mm are likely, even after the integrated distortion correction. At the upper end at 50mm the power goes down, but the wwar otherwise by 1855. Only that the 1855 Wide range significantly worse than the 1650 and was therefore sent by me to retire. Those looking for Luxorphotoart can find some examples of what is possible with this lens, and also a detailed comparison of several E-mount zoom.
My conclusion after about a year: A value for Hammer, the worth in almost every case. The A6000 is a fourth-generation ausgreifte APSC camera. The only thing I can think of what could have future models even more, is now introduced in the A7MkII image stabilization in the camera body. There, however, is the price a larger heavier and more expensive camera body, so I'm not sure if it would make sense for APSC. In addition, numerous stabilized lens are available for APSC Emount. We will see ....
The 5N remains as MF-carrier and also with the 1650 bike as shrinkable camera in use.
