Already the opener "Outer Space" shows very well in which direction it goes: As elements are represented, which could come in this form of Daft Punk, at the same time but could also appear on a Tony Hawk Soundtrack 10 years ago. All this backed by a very good rap results in my ears a thoroughly fascinating blend that permeates all 18 tracks on the album. Once you just get the feeling, 'understood' to have the song begins another element and raises the previous genre back into disarray. And the paradox: The album seems to be still totally round and harmonious.
Even Eminem had always again quite rock-heavy samples and instrumentals in his works (including "Sing for the Moment", "Beautiful"), also which I found extremely interesting time already. Yelawolf goes on this album a step further and mixes various musical genres in my opinion, excellent.
This versatile is also the central selling point of this album for me. The sound is accordingly for me totally refreshing and new. At least I would have no comparable album ready, so I think "Love Story" delightfully fresh and recommend everyone a listen times - no matter what style of music you actually belongs. Clear 5 Stars!
