But why lie for ever 2 DVDs and Blu-Ray in ???
The DVD "Alive In Berlin" simply contains the same video as the DVD "Live In Berlin", plus various interviews inserted.
This one has not exploited as the maximum 9GB DVD, but - because of the longer playing time - runtergeschraubt the Bitrate: So who is watching the concert on the "Alive In Berlin" disc, should the lower into even Bitrate endure when it was already on the "Live In Berlin" is the case.
With meaningful authoring one could build a menu item on just a DVD showing the whole video, and a second item, the MT only the concert without inserted interviews is shown.
But then you would have money to ask only for 4 discs. That you now buy the actual concert video must twice, once with, once without interviews, makes any event the purse of Sony nice and thick.
And then the mockery with the audio BluRay with 5.1 DTS soundtrack. It starts already at that on the package is "Blu-ray disc". Sorry, but such a format does not exist - either Blu-ray or CD, but can not be combined! Who now so it falls for and hopes to be able to play at least the PCM stereo track will be included on his "CD" players (as is indeed on the package!), Had bad luck. The course can be played only on a Blu-Ray player.
But what actually is a Blu-ray, on which only a stereo and a 5.1 soundtrack are included (there's photo - except for the menu - none)? Has something not even fit in the DM-past on a conventional DVD?
The technical inspection it brings to light: the whole Blu-ray (seemingly) contains 15 GB of data, which would not fit on a DVD evidently - you might think: The stereo track is contained about 2.5 GB in size, the DTS -5.1-track but (what is this nonsense ???) twice in identical form included on the Blu-ray, that is, the 5.1 track is really just ridiculous 4.64 GB in size, and would therefore loose together with the stereo track on a DVD9 fit. But if you plan packs the 5.1 track twice, then reaches a DVD course no longer sufficient, it must establish a Blu-Ray, and can be the loyal stupid fans again pull a few more euros out of pocket!
Oh, and one more thing on the quality of the 5.1-Mixes: Someone once listened to the rear speakers of its surround sound system? When I hold my ear directly to the lautscprecher, then I can hear something very quiet even from these two boxes. Otherwise really everything comes only from the front, the name 5.1 surround is therefore greatly exaggerated.
Technical Summary: actually have in the Box also just a video DVD, 2 audio CDs and a 5.1 audio DVD may be included, for less money one would clearly have to ask.
Extras are - apart from the two acoustic recordings in the brothel - anyway not included, so would max. 25 euros have been quite sufficient.
Stupid that this release has been lifted by the massive pre-orders of the fans on a totally undeserved first sales rank which sets a completely wrong signal.
Should now actually finally a HD release be pushed under pressure from disgruntled fans, the offer should come here to be able to return the DVD box in exchange. This potential HD release then would need only 3 discs:, on which both the film and the interviews and the 5.1 sound track contains the two audio CDs and a Blu-ray in HD quality.
Overall conclusion: rectification does not !!!
