The small camera shines through a huge delivery for almost any occasion. Do you have to buy this accessory often expensive to other cameras of this type, here's all included in the basic package. For actually almost all situations a corresponding accessories is included.
A battery lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours, so that one then does not stand without incoming recording, there is a second battery simultaneously with this - exemplary. In charger two batteries can be charged simultaneously.
Before applying you should read the instructions carefully. This is fortunately enclosed in German in printed form. There are the possible functions, at least of a summary explains. A detailed manual for download would be desirable.
Before first use the two batteries should be charged. It is possible to do this directly in the camera via the USB cable, or you can take the charger, which can charge two batteries simultaneously. Then use the 32 GB SD card and then you can start. First, make a few settings in the menu. Operation via three buttons is a bit strange. In any case, the OSD menu can be adjusted in German. The camera itself is very small and you can of course without all the accessories, such as a conventional compact camera used for taking photos and videos. On the back there is a small LCD screen. This is neat, with a lot of light outside can be seen but not too much. But the problem one has in general with most TFT screens.
Images can make up to 12 megapixels and videos up to 1080p at 30 fps (frames per second), from 720P are also 60 fps possible. For normal action videos, the 30fps is perfectly adequate. For very fast-paced action which you want to look at later in slow motion you would then prefer to take the 720p60fps. Otherwise the quality of the videos is very good in daylight. They are saved in MOV format and they are best played with QuickTime Player. Had first taken the VLC Player (my default player) and because the quality was not good at all.
The lighting is dim, the noise is still quite strong. Unfortunately, there is no flash for photos or other bulbs (z. B. Infrared) for dark conditions.
The coupling to the PC is absolutely no problem. Simply connect via USB to the PC. The camera switches to USB mode and in the Explorer then you have access to two directories (Movie and Photo). There you will find all the photos and videos respectively. The coupling to the TV via the HDMI cable was also without any problems and the picture quality was very good.
In the box, the camera is also waterproof up to 20 meters. I got it in a lake tested and it really is no water penetrated. So you can use the camera also good for diving.
