Unfortunately I can not use the card reader, as long as the Mac OS X 10.8 AusweisApp is not capable. The compatibility is so far only up to version 10.7, which I do not just find beneficial for such an application.

The card reader is designed but very nice and he is covered with security seals that attest that the device has not been tampered. The display lights up really through what looks a bit disturbing for the one or the other. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with the device, which is really worth its money.
