Here is the report about our experiences:
The tent is sized for 2 people, more would not really fit in.
The tent has an "inner part" So the lockable sleeping area and an outdoor part of the about it again goes through the inner part and in the entrance area provides a kind of anteroom again.
The hall has no bottom, the interior is the floor, the side walls and the ceiling one. This is excellent, so no mess to come through any cracks and it also comes no wind or wet clean.
Inside there are pockets to stow things.
>>>> Size:
In length to the inner area (sleeping area) absolutely good sized (220 cm) of width, it is ok (we measured 139cm)
The amount was typical tent with about 106 cm. When I sit was thus my head almost on the tent ceiling.
As the tent was only meant for sleeping, the dimensions were really good.
These dimensions of the hall comes again to (65 cm)
>>>> Construction:
The structure is very light in front of him. There is a tutorial here (in German). First, the rods are pushed together and inserted into eyelets. The tent is attached with plastic Cliper on the bars. Especially great: The tent is perfectly stable and alone without which it was attached with pegs. However, it is to be attached to cords (directly into the eyes of the tent) and then 4 pegs for all corners and the middle part herring here.
>>> Tightness:
In the roof vents are installed, and it has not promised too much:
Unlike many other tents that we had, there were in this tent hardly condensation. Apparently the system works.
Also moisture came through no. It is very important not to wash the tarpaulin, as the tent has a coating, it would lose its moisture leaks during washing.
We have previously used the tent 2x, every time there were rainy days, but we stayed completely dry. Also the strong wind we really feel anything.
The water column is specified with 4000 mm (the floor even 5000 mm)
>>> Weight:
So now I have an extra weighed the tent for readers: 2600 gr (because our balance is not 50 gr weighs exactly deviations occur), I just wanted to give a clue.
I think about 2.5 kg for a tent (with rods!) Really easy and also easy to transport on a bicycle.
Packed the tent is large: about 60x22cm (the 1st time it was a bit smaller, the 2nd time it had these dimensions)
You can set up the tent without the inner tent.
Material:
100% Polyester
Fly: Polyester 75 D with PU coating
Inner tent: 68D Polyester
Floor: Is solid and 100% polyamide - nylon 70D - Waterproof coated, water column 5000mm
Tent poles: Made of aluminum T6
As a tip:
Be sure to always have the tent poles at the ends before and after the tents with fat grease (zBMelkfett), characterized the bars do not start to rust, etc. and are much easier to slide into each other or disassemble again.
It is also a "Seam Sealer" when, hereby should one smear the seams so that they are to remain sealed even in the longer term.
Before you pack the tent you should make sure that it is completely dry, otherwise it starts to become moldy.
We always have a large tub while not high type (there at the hardware store low). we ask in the entrance hall, so our things remain from the bottom dry and clean. This way you can take your shoes off in the lobby and there let them (also for airing after hiking :-)))
