That said, the result is surprising in my case: my wireless router is located in the lounge. My room is located 15 meters away and three concrete walls separate these two parts. When I tried to access the internet from the bed (via my iPad and my iPhone), I got a ridiculous signal (below 10%) or sometimes no signal. With this repeater I placed halfway between the living room and bedroom, I get a signal that is around 80%. Beau progress!
Installation is simple if you have a newer router accepting WPS - it is sufficient to press a button present on your router for this repeater is automatically configured.
If your router is a bit older (my case), you must:
1) Connect the repeater.
2) Getting connected (see the instruction booklet for the network name).
3) The coach then displays a page showing the wireless connections available. You have to choose one of its router and enter the corresponding WEP key.
Note: If the security of your network is based solely on the MAC address of your device (in my case), you should add a WEP key and reconfigure your devices. This repeater does not work without WEP key.
Conclusion: great product, even if it is bulky.
