For "Game of the Year 2013," it has apparently still not enough, but that rather surprised me, because I have also Hanabi (SdJ 2013) and Qwixx have favored more for the title, because it I think a little more entertaining and fun than Hanabi ,
Now I will briefly address General to the game:
Qwixx you play with only 6 dice and a "play list", which each player receives at the beginning of the enclosed block. First, the maximum number of players is theoretically unlimited because these few components, on the packaging 2-5 players stated.
At the same time negative to say, really, each player per round its own list required - unlike Yahtzee, where all players can record their results on a single list. This is not necessarily a disadvantage, because the game itself does not permit otherwise. However, the block goes much too quickly (backs also not printed). However, it is possible the blocks in multipacks reorder directly from Amazon.
Rough summary of the advantages:
+ Enormously entertaining and amusing
+ Explained in 2-4 minutes
+ Clearly, due to the small number of game components
+ It is very rare in a round
Block and referee forms in color
+ Great and remarkable game idea - in my opinion much better than Yahtzee!
+ One is "constantly on the train"
+ Theoretically unlimited number of players at the top
Negatives:
- Block will quickly empty - reorder possible!
CONCLUSION
Qwixx receives from me, of course, still five stars, because I am really convinced completely of this game as well as the game idea. It would indeed have at least the back of the game list can still print to time to require two consecutive rounds without playing another note, but I would not go there yet, subtract a star.
