I own the Lenovo Y50 now since a few days and am really very excited. I've bought the 256GB SSD version DOS. After installing the drivers, everything went flawlessly. My Games (Assassins Creed IV, Skyrim, League of Legends, Tropico 5, ...) all work fine, in the highest quality and even if several other programs are open. The battery lasts about 5 hours in preservation mode (Word, Internet surfing, ...) and in gaming mode 1- 1 1/2 hours. That's ok for me, but should be a warning for users who need a day Electricity. The display is, in my variant ok (the AUO panel which allegedly better than the ChiMei's) but nothing special, the side viewing angle is okay but from above and below this is rather poor. The integrated speakers have a good volume, a (for built-in speakers) and good bass not sound bad. The volume or hot spots in this product is not a problem. It is quiet and never reached a temperature at which it would be questionable to me. The processing and the thin body like very much, on the top you can see fingerprints, unfortunately very quickly but can wipe out these problems so that the laptop looks like new again. The touchpad I can not comment, I never use it. Instead, I always take my 10 wireless mouse, with everything running smoothly. All in all I can only recommend this laptop because it brings a lot of power for very little price.
