The CD-ROM install is very simple. The cartridges can be used easily. And they are comparatively low in the replacement. However, one must, if one does not use Wi-Fi, yet have a suitable cable to connect the device to your computer. The cable is in fact not included! What's missing is a USB port. Because the display of the multifunction machine but is also very small, here the way on the computer is displayed anyway.
As a printer works perfectly Kodak ESP 310 in very good quality. Even here it is noticeable that the device is very fast. This also applies to scanning and copying. The operating speed is a huge plus in everyday use! It also takes a minute for the printer / scanner / copier after power is ready! From Standby, it takes only seconds.
The print quality is - even with pictures - very good. But not so good is the scan quality of photos. In documents there is nothing to complain about, but the quality of photo scanning is more middle class. The scan can still be edited with the easy to use Kodak Home Center and the quality are slightly increased accordingly eg noise reduction or color depth setting. The photo scans are not really colorfast. For me this is the only real weakness of the device. A small drawback, however, is only that the operating noise is a bit loud.
Conclusion: For home use, the multifunction machine is well suited, especially because it is fast and efficient. For scanning professionals, but I think it's not necessarily a recommendation. The price-performance ratio, I feel as very reasonable.
