Shenzhen I bought because I had enjoyed Pyongyang the same author. Result, I also love Shenzhen now that I've read, though I find most successful Pyongyang. Design side, the beginning of Shenzhen me a little bit put off. It was too pencil, much less mastered and refined that Pyongyang. But I noticed that during the album, the style was improving to become much better on the last pages. As for the story, I had the same feeling: Shenzhen is the first "living book" Delisle, it is more and less hesitant initially mastered in the narration that Pyongyang to me. Similarly, the story of a trip to the border of China Populaire and especially in this city that is almost artificial Shenzhen me less interested and less enthralled as the stay in North Korea as described in Pyongyang. And yet, I still enjoyed much reading. We find humor by Guy Delisle, his interest in these little absurd things in life we can not see from the first glance, his amusing reflections, the way to discover a country and we share. A real fun travel guide that gives a vision of the place (not really appetizing, having said) that gives the impression of having been too. Very friendly and interesting.
