Point Lookout is a relatively heavy AddOn, which has frustrated me at some point, since these small swamp Gnome have no arms and so on half smashed me with a shovel, I used forever in power armor and grenades, rocket launchers, etc. have to make them flat. Difficulty alone by increasing the hitpoints tighten well, but unfortunately well known in Bethesda, you see Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3 main game ...
Atmospheric but Point Lookout offers much good stuff, just the side quest to the Chinese agent is probably with the best I've ever seen. New weapons like the Double-Barrel Shotgun or Lever-Action Rifle I do not want to miss, a unique variant of the latter, the Backwater Rifle there are also also, very nice!
Broken Steel finally increases the level cap to 30 (I know, appeared in front of Point Lookout) and also introduces new perks, but most of which are extremely useless (eg Quantum Chemist). Playful itself does not have that much, other than the imposition a few new hard about monsters as the Super Mutant Overlord or the Albino Radscorpion. However, the new weapons are great, regardless of whether the flamethrower, the Tri-Beam Laser Rifle or the Tesla Cannon, here you get neat fire power.
What I miss generally include new textbooks or meaningful perks, tasks that you once have to think a little bit more instead of just straight on to run and shoot. However, these two addons do very much better than the two previous Operation Anchorage and The Pitt.
However, a criticism of me is the incompatibility with Windows 7. The main game runs with me now largely error-free, the add-ons bring strangely always problems. Despite current DirectX version and graphics drivers (Fallout Patches of course) I have repeatedly Grafikfehler, strong stuttering and constant system crashes, in the long run annoying already! Since one can only hope for better patch.
