I bought this for my new computer power supply consisting of a Asus mini-ITX board, an Intel Core i7 4770k and 8GB Ram, an SSD, a normal 3,5er HDD and a DVD drive. In normal operation and under full load the CPU, the power supply can not be heard, because the fan does not rotate. Here, the power supply is only lukewarm. Since I have installed no current Hung squad graphics card is the power consumption under full load 120W, so no all to great challenge for the power supply. However, the power supply comes with the matching connection cable for a PCI graphics card. I have different power supplies tested with an 80 PLUS Bronze certification, and each time had to realize that these were significantly warm, even with the above-mentioned hardware with rotating fan. This indicates a high power dissipation. Since the Corsair RM 450 PSU with no rotating fan grade times is lukewarm, one can certainly assume that it therefore is less power dissipation generates and efficiently. Therefore, I find wearing the AC adapter, the 80 Plus Gold certification cope.
I speak this power supply from my personal buy recommendation. Highly recommended for those who want to build a quiet and efficient computer together.
