It's very well written, it really reads easily and funny passages succession to real emotional moments but to read when you're in a good mood because we finished the book a little sad.
Special mention to the characters, very endearing, and realism (the author admits that the novel is partly autobiographical, many passages speak of sex and drugs, which remain after all topics related to the age of 16-17 years of the protagonists but it never trash). The character of Alaska particular, is particularly fascinating.
The book also contains some "bonus" very interesting interview with the author and a "discussion topics" in case the book would be treated in class.
