That was also the reason for me to mount this switch for the ventilation grille. I wanted to have the viewing area free again and possibly even better to come to the phone.
Now to the bracket: The materiality quality is very good, the holder makes a good impression. The design is well thought out and all parts of the mount Robust and non-sensitive and delicate. The included charging adapter I find, however, a bit superfluous. It served its purpose and invites my phone even with a large appetite for energy on. What bothers me is just the spiral cable which shortens the range of the charger. I'll stay here with my USB adapter for the cigarette lighter and the standard USB charging cable.
Back to mount. They can be adjusted by sliding the retaining tabs on all possible mounting positions. Where it is not likely to work are horizontal air outlets or the Cross-shaped the installed eg Mercedes in the newer models. It's best to work when the ventilation slats are reasonably vertical. (Angle greater than 45 °)
The stability of the bracket is not comparable to that of the suction cup, but is fine for me. A bit can be the phone with the holder move out or fall it may not. Is held to be damaged, the cell phone very well without. The breakpoints are very well padded.
A very positive point I noticed while driving on the motorway: The bracket will grant so many vibrations to the phone so you even at high speeds can still read the display. Here I had the mount on the windshield shift from time to time problems because the mobile phone has wobbled back and forth.
It directs the way less than I thought from the mobile phone no longer have direct field of vision.
I can mount so be sure to recommend, the car should be equipped with the appropriate air vents.
