After purchasing a new measuring PC's I realized that this only has an HDMI output and a display port. My monitor can be controlled via VGA or DVI. After a short test with an HDMI VGA adapter I then ordered the display port to DVI cable. The first solution had an adapter plug, which is not very good in the harsh environment. In addition, there were interruptions in the presentation.

Quite different the diplay port DVI cable. The view was perfect from the beginning. Good is also the lock of the display port connector. Thus it can not be accidentally pulled, which is possible when HDMI. The pleasant length of 2 m does not restrict me in test setups and it's a pleasant working environment.

Overall a very useful cable if you want to connect a monitor with DVI input on a display port. The build quality is high and the cable is highly recommended.
