The experience:
- Switch on and start going fix. The Microsoft Update is also OK. Battery was partially charged. Charging is very (!) Quickly.
- Attention: Despite otherwise press releases. With SW Aufspieldatum 22.1. is still the time / AdWare Superfish installed. Meanwhile, however, offered to Lenovo a simple usable Uninstall Tool. Info see also heise.de. Strong recommendation to remove this tool for security reasons.
- Otherwise, McAfee and several other tools installed. Which can be useful depending on use purpose. Otherwise, they are simply uninstallable.
- The device is definitely fast, quiet and persevering. 6 hours work with Wi-Fi and bright display is definitely not a problem. The fan was quiet until now perceive only once.
- Display: My old laptop is definitely matter. Could be better. Interestingly, on the packaging anything from anti-glare .. Fits but at my place for me. Any bad illuminations are imperceptible in use. The touch display is definitely an asset. When one else "toucht" to do that here immediately and wonders why that's not always so.
- Keyboard: The is slightly narrower (just the NUM and Backspace keys are very close together), but it has a number pad, which was important to me. In the beginning, therefore, often a mistake. But that's after a familiarization phase OK. Also from the stop and the (switchable) keyboard light everything is OK.
- Touchpad: OK. Bonds and klackert not with me. All OK
- Memory: 16 GB I do not really need. Since the 8GB version, however, was 100 more expensive, opting for 16 GB was just ..
- SSD: The has 6 partitions. (??) Can be used by the 256 GB SSD in C: 205 GB and D: 26 GB. Here also all drivers (2 GB) are stored. Since it could actually already better a 512GB SSD to be ..
- Housing (Black) is very prone to fingerprints. That's not really state of the art ..
- Connections: much more a small device goes to so ... Can not ran to a I-tec USB 3.0 Docking Station recommend. Then you have to network GB, HD monitor, mouse, keyboard, ... just connect to a USB 3.0 connector.
Summary:
if you uninstalled Superfish, can live with the fingerprints not quite smart housing and the somewhat narrower buttons, the device is definitely worth the money!
