The ointment is very good after a short application on the palms. The hands are in every situation dust-dry (even the sports). I have applied the ointment only overnight and washed off in the morning. Only downside is that the hands (eg in swimming pools) are in prolonged contact with water very quickly shriveled and even do after prolonged swimming really hurt. This, however, I'll gladly accept. Can recommend the ointment so warmly.
