The actual product - the Silk épil 7 - is impeccable. I use it for quite some time and am very satisfied with the device. It is convenient to use, removes the hair thoroughly and relatively soft and can also be used both wet and dry. There is a model in dozens of different editions, each differing in the included accessories, the color design and of course the price. Since prices vary greatly and not every accessory is useful for each Licensees, it is advisable to compare the various deals before buying exactly. One can buy this individually and accessories if needed.
The epilator weighs about 200 grams and is thanks to its slightly curved shape very well in hand. Charging the battery takes about an hour; on a single charge, the device can be operated for about 40 minutes. The epilator is fitted with a lamp for a better view of the to be depilated skin and has two speeds (1: mild, 2: fast). I personally use only Level 2, epilation newcomers come possibly with stage 1 at the beginning cope better. The speed is set using a small wheel, which is the on / off switch at the same time. This bike is a real weak spot in the otherwise immaculate unit, because the service is anything but comfortable. With wet or even soapy hands, it is extremely difficult to turn it. The epilator can be used both dry and wet (in the shower or in the bath). The Trockenepilation goes faster because the hair is better recognized; the Nassepilation is recommended for gentle and ideal for beginners and very sensitive to pain women.
The various essays on the epilator are a matter of taste. Each new Licensees must try for yourself with which / whom they get along best. In this respect, I find the compilation in this package for epilation newcomers not bad in principle, as all areas are covered. However, I personally find only half of the essays well and use them on a regular basis:
Efficiency-attachment:
One of my two standard attachments - so goes the fastest hair removal, because the tweezers area is very large, so that very many hairs are plucked at one time. Not necessarily suitable for epilation beginners.
RF massage attachment:
In this paper, the roller with the tweezers is the front and back surrounded by small knobs wheels, which stimulate the skin during epilation (to). The article really adapts well to body contours, and I find the epilation so very pleasant. As the tweezers range is limited by the massage pin, epilation takes a bit longer, but is no less thorough. Papers for sensitive areas (bikini line, armpits ...) and for facial hair:
In principle, these two essays hardly differ. Both reduce the tweezer portion, the attachment for the face is a little bit narrow. For the bikini area, I use personally prefer one of the above standard essays; really painful, I can not find the epilation so, and it goes a little faster. (Even better / more efficient is of course a Präzisionsepilierer with an extra narrow tweezers roll.) The paper for the face to me is also unnecessary. The hairs on the face are thin and short with me and each lie far apart, so that the distance is a simple tweezer easiest and quickest. I could, however, imagine that the attachment for women with a little more hair growth on the face makes perfect sense and for example is an alternative to regular waxing the upper lip me. (Also in this area, there are special devices that epilieren this resource more efficiently.)
Shaver / trimmer:
The shaver is ideal to trim hairs on the optimum length for epilation. The unit can be set so that everything is reduced to 5 mm. The length of your hair has namely a huge impact on how painful epilation. For shaving the underarms (there I find the epilation too uncomfortable) I suppose, however, prefer a simple razor, because that is faster and more thoroughly. I do not use the trimmer.
Conclusion: The epilator itself is very good, and I would certainly give five stars. The compilation in this package, however, I find less interesting. There are several other editions, I personally liked better (eg the SkinSpa edition with the exfoliating brush and the brush face) the. Because of the significant price differences it is worthwhile in any case, to compare the offers.
