+ Very good battery life: read in my use for e-mail, Internet, messages, calendar entries and notes the battery lasts normally 3 to 4 days. I use the tablet while regularly, but rarely very long at a time.
+ 8 inch display is for me the "right" size.
+ The handwriting recognition works considerably better than expected. Although one should reasonably neat writing, but very hard in "calligraphy" not one must also do. Normal neat handwriting is recognized by my experience and converted correctly. The only "drawback": I would have liked a slightly larger pen (pen size). In this regard, I am unfortunately not been able to find for the grade 8. For the "small" touch although there is a greater "S-Pen Holder" by Samsung - in accordance with the written reviews on this pin but he does not seem to work particularly well with the grade 8.
+ S Pen functions, such as screen capture tool, I find very useful.
+ The multi-window function is awesome: eg simultaneous searching the web for a specific topic and making a note of the information found by having two windows open simultaneously on a split screen.
+ The processor speed of the tablets makes absolutely liquid / judder work.
Neutral: the display resolution of the Note 8 is often criticized. Although I am also of the opinion that one can expect more in this price range. Since my display resolution in daily use but enough / not really noticeable low as disturbing, there is for me no star deduction.
The two star deduction is available for:
- Permanently installed battery: that is neither ecologically nor economically for the consumer when the tablet after a few years to the "disposable" is just because of the battery decreases.
- High price: the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is significantly more expensive than other 7-inch / 8-inch tablets with similar specifications. The high price can only allow Samsung, as it has almost a unique position in the market with the S-Pen.
