The Gastroback rice cooker is in itself a perfect unit - the rice does not burn to (glued maximalst entirely on the ground with a slight crust). However: The inner part is made of a cheap (flexible) metal which must not give in to the dishwasher - since otherwise oxidized at the outer edge.
