The flash unit itself is very well made. He lets it pivot vertically and horizontally easily without turning itself.
The battery compartment cover closes easily, does not rattle and holds the batteries securely where they belong.
The camera flash is screwed by means of a wheel, which initially represented a bit complicated, but from time to time much easier. There is not a lot of space and large hands do between camera body and flash itself as rather difficult. Here I prefer the lock lever of the Pentax-original.
Operation is intuitive and easy. On the back, the keys are for turning, for TTL auto, for manual operation, in which the power can be changed in 4 steps, and
for the slave mode, in which the flash can be controlled wirelessly unleashed by the camera.
A display does not exist.
In P-TTL and in slave mode, the flash output can be controlled from the camera.
In slave mode, the wireless flash, the flash is automatically set to the of the camera
used channel. It is not possible to set the camera and flash on a common channel,
to arrange a flash of a camera. If you are working with several Pentax cameras, triggers lightning,
if camera uses 1 channel 1, but it solves exactly when camera uses 2 channel 2.
Amateur photographers who are looking for a good flash at a moderate price and not want to give up the most important functions of the originals that come with this flash their money's worth.
In this price range I can only recommend this flash.
