First, the advantages:

- Three years warranty
- Very good printed image with text
- Good software
- Good documentation (online)
- Low standby consumption

- Auto Power Off is by default to
Because I print only occasionally and something I can live with the costs. I do not need color, photo printouts to order online. Compared to inkjets I have no stress with dry ink and clogged print heads. The valves for intake and storage can fold it, then it is compact and takes up little space. That was another plus point for me.
The printed image with text is very good, a little grainy in PDFs / graphics. But this can also be a matter of attitude.

The printer has a power saving mode, according to the manufacturer 0.5 Watt. Furthermore, a power-off mode in less than 0:28 Watt. The latter is entered in accordance with factory settings after a certain period of time. Print jobs are no longer accepted, USB interface is disabled and only one push of a button awakens him to life. I personally can disable this auto-power-off mode with the "rpc" tool from the CD.
