It becomes more difficult when you make should be something ever looked in the Horde ... then it always had to serve the apartment and TV other people. Sooner or later, therefore, should also be a solution here that is not permanently taking up space and can still offer great cinema. A video projector seemed the most sensible approach here.
Acer P1510, in conjunction with a reasonable HDMI cable and a corresponding screen, is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. When not in use it is in the closet and the canvas will be rolled away no appreciable space, and if film or series evening approaches, the projector will be clamped to the PC, unrolled the canvas and the popcorn provided.
Although the device as such makes first not look like much (much plastic, barely accessories), but convinced it & in operation by easy operation.
The construction and connection is quite simple. The image quality is much sharper than HDMI, high-contrast and crisp than the supplied VGA cable. The extra investment in an appropriate cable so worthwhile in any case (even if at the price actually an HDMI Bale might expect in a box). After all, the P1510 shine with an enclosed carrying case, which may be already practically.
The settings can change the aspect ratio, adjust the color temperature and brightness & contrast. Again, there are so spectacular menu items such as "Dynamic Black" (a contrast booster) or "Acer ColorBoost II" and of course the point 3D (which I have so far not been touched in the absence of such shutter glasses).
It is recommended for the most authentic cinema experience to darken the room (and again to send a Eisverkäufer the room shortly before the film starts), but thanks to the Leistunbg the unit, operation is possible in daylight, though (and this is perfectly normal) under certain losses in terms of image.
The colors are saturated and without outshine, contrast and sharpness can be (for me at least) nothing to be desired. The refresh rate is correspondingly well at 24 frames / sec. Very practical is the Trapezkorrekur: is the projector times not completely straight in front of the canvas, the image is still corrected to a rectangular projection towards.
Conclusion: for me as a "home cinema beginners" a very good projector with super image and practical features. HDMI cable should be included, because by now but hardly Mulitmediageräte no HDMI terminal to be sold, and this interface is now even a must see if you want to tickle the best picture quality from the device.
