Very good investment for iDevice and USB playback

I was tired of getting over the PC speakers (Teufel Concept B 20) to listen to music. Because while the PC must of course be to what again draws current. And hear at night to fall asleep but music is something beautiful :)

As so often, the delivery via Amazon Prime / Premium was perfect - fast and well packed. First thought when unpacking: Oha, which are great! (The boxes compared with my PC speakers)
Installed, connected - briefly about the (as so often) annoyed short cable and then is "docked" the iPhone (4S). Even fast the batteries in and off you go into the remote control.

To say it would be a phenomenal sound, or the like, would be a lie, but it is totally satisfactory. I was even surprised that for the "low" price comes across such a good sound. Those looking for a little loud for a space that is served here super - the system goes to 30, falling asleep I hear with 5, by the way with 12, when storm-free, with 20 - and that's damn loud ... and very bass rich. So for those who can do nothing with much bass - should change your mind again, Personally, I also like to turn the time - a "Dynamic Bass Boost function" for even more bass.

I only use the docking station or the USB stick as a player. CD and AUX IN I have not yet used. Can me but imagine that CDs may stutter when the bass is strong, and the whole table vibrates :)
The iDevice holder is actually something - shaky and does not act firmly. But when you thus bypasses normal - and this is not intended for young children - then the case should be no problem. USB Input is done something stupid - you have to open an automatically lockable sliding it before the drive can be reingesteckt - what I feel as stupid, even though it was probably designed against impurities. All in all, I summarize:

+ Design, wOOx Bass installation looks great
+ Super sound
+ Can be set very loud
+ Display can be dimmed (then goes from the blue LED on the volume control, which disturbs at night)
+ All iDevices adjust the Dock (how this works with iPhone 5, I do not know - one probably via the adapter.)

- Rather short cable (is rarely better with other manufacturers)
- The remote control is 5 meters from surly - could be more precise and generally respond better
- I've tried it with my father as a radio - the sound was terrible! One probably. is an exception, but who wants to use a system with 120 RWS as radio for classical music etc., should definitely buy something else!

Conclusion: For the price you do not go wrong, especially for young people / young adults super - as top price / performance ratio.
