It was a really nice sunny yellow, cheerful Iron in plastic look (by the way, my new Siemens also - probably today normal). My Rowenta was the feel and build quality much better quality (it was also made in Germany while Philips can produce in Asia).
The cable is very long - I feel personally rather disturbing, because I do not need so much rope, but for others it is certainly a big advantage. Very good, I find that the cable can be rotated in all directions thanks to "ball joint" and fix not coming out the back.
It is lighter than my previous very heavy Rowenta - since rejoice wrists.
Large water (but bad in itself fit the ring in the hole - but does not really matter), but still I had to concentrate to not vorbeizugießen with the cup.
Disappointment at the sight of the steam slide - cheap transparent plastic particles, wobbly and flimsy. When am I supposed to daily dosing, the amount of steam, this particle is probably going first broken ...?!
Although the handle is smooth (a pity he is not rubberized), but the iron is still really good in the hand (better than my previous Rowenta).
The ironing succeeds very well - quickly and effectively, you must actually go only once over each area of the substance (shirt), which saves time. Here Philips is better and more pleasant than the Rowenta definitely. It is much easier and faster.
Conclusion: Very good ironing! Is certainly the most important thing when buying the device.

BUT ...
... The control dial to adjust the iron temperature is poorly done. The colors have little contrast, so that I myself in good light can barely read what is printed in orange on the continuous yellow background.
The mark itself is not clear. Much too thick, the amount of steam is drawn, also unnecessarily the type of fabric, so that one hardly finds the most important thing, namely the famous 1 to 3 points of the bracket Heat. It also lacks a direction pointer. You turn and do not know how you get around to minimum or maximum. And that the marks are just below the handle, reading even more difficult. The same was true of my mother and my husband - and we all had our glasses on. In addition, the wheel adjusted slightly by mistake, when you do something on the iron.
But that was not all: Suddenly the wheel no longer went - it jammed and it was clear. It just did not turn, neither gently nor solid, neither raising or depressing the thumbwheel. This rotary control has no good quality in my opinion, is not solid, shaky and therefore in my opinion also not reliable. After X Try it settled then turn again. But I have to lose confidence.
The plastic quality of all the important parts (Steam flow and iron temperature setting) does not strike me solid. A device with more than 2000 watts of power should be processed more reliable in my view at these locations.
Amazon - as always a great customer service - taking it back. Can of course be that I just had bad luck and my scroll wheel was a "mon part". It worked so later, but if it is still so fragile ...
Apparently it is still noticed no other reviewers and also criticism of the label color I do not see here ... ??
Now my assessment: For the poor Temperaturverstellrad and primitive steam slide I draw from 2 star. The remaining three appreciate the simple and effective ironing with this iron.
I now order a Siemens, which also has a safety shutdown that I have missed the price of Philips iron: Siemens TB56280 steam iron sensor secure / 2750 watts max. / Active Control for increased safety / Titanium glissée soleplate
******
Addendum: If you do not mind that the model has no automatic safety shutdown, then I can recommend another Philips steam iron very, the Azur Philips GC4410 steam iron, it is really great and the yellow GC3335 / 02 is superior in some respects (see my review above ).
