The design is also very consistent. Of course you have to have a mini-ITX motherboard compromise with comparison to a full-ATX board, everything is just "closer together" and this can be annoying cable management. This can not be blamed on the board, however, finally to buy those same form factor as you need it just smaller. All connections are easily accessible, thermal peaks I could not find.
The slot cover is printed with a handsome film, uncommon in this price range that are NEN bonus point, ie 09/10 pts.
Scope of supply:
07/10 points
2 Satakabel, slot bracket, user manual and CD with outdated drivers (as always).
Nothing special so.
One should note that the Board has only 2 SATA statements. More you do not need a rule even in mini-systems.
I passed some time ago to OS installations on USB sticks and see since not go back to optical media.
Tip:
Investors in the Bios update via USB USB HDD instead of a stick. Sticks were with me because of older BIOS on delivery (Version F3) not always recognized (in the Q-Flash tool). After updating to BIOS F8 was no longer a problem to get there, however, I had to use an external USB HDD.
Note:
Since the motherboard is very popular in the Hackentosh scene, I once tested it with MacOSX Lion. Everything except for USB 3.0 works perfectly! Recommended!
Conclusion:
An extremely well-made middle class Board, which is the minimum premium over cheaper brands-MB with the same equipment and the very same form factor absolute value. In addition, Gigabyte has built some good gimmicks, such as a fast charge mode for connected Smarphones. This is much more juice to the USB and works even if the PC is off. This conventional Kabelwust with popular smartphone Netadaptern (iPhone, Android, etc.) saves you having to forego a fast charge without. Would buy again at any time and can recommend it unconditionally those which can heat up for ITX systems.
