Very good lens whose reputation suffers that many cameras are not able to deal with such lightweight lenses

I run the lens on a Lumix GX1 and an Olympus E-P5 with the latest firmware as my standard lens, when I'm out and about with the family, but even if I want to capture interesting perspectives and motives. Thanks to the small size of the e-P5 is pocket fit and thus a very common companions. The stabilizer of e-P5 allows for longer exposure times, so that the lack of light intensity can be well balanced with static subjects. In none of the cameras I have problems with shutter Shock (at the Olympus thanks to the firmware update just not even in the problematic exposures). The autofocus of the lens is very fast and accurate, both in photos and in videos. The latter make me especially at the E-P5 much fun.

Respect. the image quality I can for example draw comparisons with the Panasonic 20mm 1.7 and the standard zoom 14-42 (Version 1). In both comparisons, the PZ performs very well, that leaves the other standard push behind him and is almost as sharp as the prime lens. Especially this situation made me to write this short review, I simply can not understand all the criticism of the optical quality of the lens. For the sake of mobility I am K30 switched last year from Pentax to the MFT system. Therefore, I can here for example, draw comparisons to good lenses on this system - and get themselves as to the conclusion that the image quality of the Panasonic PZ which is not inferior. And that with the portability. Maybe I got lucky with my only copy.

Sure, it's true: in cameras that do not face the Shuttershock problem, but so some pictures are blurred. And this occurs mainly for light lenses (yes, even with other lenses). Heavy lenses stabilize halt seemingly the body better. Ergo is the only "fault" of the PZ, too easy to be. And that really can not blame him but actually.

Conclusion: I have found nothing comparable in size and quality. Therefore, it is worth my opinion currently 5 Stars.
