Very good live recording - but only for newcomers and collectors Completely really interesting

This review refers to the 2013 released CD "Deep Purple" - "Paris 1975" from the "The Official Deep Purple (Overseas) Live Series" (even if the top is something else) - Amazon has this product with another (like CD ) summarized and allowed no second review, although my original review is from 2004 (similar to the CD) so outdated.

In the "The Official Deep Purple (Overseas) Live Series" exclusively been published concerts and partly unreleased bonus tracks or bonus interviews will be published 10 CDs in the coming months, included.
In the present CD is Deep Purple's last appearance in 1975, before Ritchie Blackmore, the band (first) left. The rest of the cast (known as Deep Purple Mark III) is made up of David Coverdale, Glenn Hughes, Jon Lord and Ian Paice.
The sound is of (for a concert from 1975) ravishing quality and the playfulness of the band members can be, despite the tense situation probably (Blackmores impending exit was already known) nothing to be desired. The booklet praises in this respect, especially the guitar work of "Man in Black", the already suggestive, in which direction it will control a few months later with "Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow". I can agree with, particularly the song "Might Just Take Your Live" is the Blackmore fan advised here, in which the strings Schwinger this otherwise rather harmonious song congenially with a filigreed guitar solo in a good way "sawed".

The largest part of this concert, there was the first time in 1996 on the CD "Mark III - The Final Concerts" to hear. At that time, however, came the tracks "Burn, Stormbringer and Space Truckin 'by another appearance in Graz. In 2001 then the CD was" Live in Paris 1975 "nachgeschoben, on the already the complete heard here set was published. For the present edition were the tapes again remastered (which I do not necessarily hear, but since I am not a professional) and the whole thing is a 20-minute interview from 1975 with David Coverdale, Glenn Hughes and Ian Paice added. This makes use of the noise forth the impression that it would be taken up at a pub or a pool hall. A small booklet complements the CD, however, mainly with photos and little text. There just had the edition "Live in Paris 1975" to provide much more information in the booklet.

On the minus side remains thus:
- All the songs were published earlier
- The booklet is kept fairly short (being carried out at such publications Sometimes is already lucky to ever get a lovingly designed booklet)
- In the Digipak CD case there is only one clip tray, so the two CDs are of each other put (scratches risk and hassle of fiddling around with the included CD-change.)

On the plus side, we have:
- A complete concert of Mark III occupation in top shape and in excellent sound quality
- A detailed (unpublished?) Bonus interview
- A really good price (13.99 as I write this review)

Another plus for the likes:
- With the 10 CDs of the series are obtained not only a nice overview of the live work of Deep Purple from 1969 to 1976 but strung together into the back of the CD also has its own image (such as the connoisseurs of funny paperbacks or Bibi-and-Tina CDs knows ;-))

Conclusion: For this price a solid product, that should be for novices and complete collector of interest. However, anyone who has already some live stuff from Deep Purple Mark III and not necessarily keen on is to compare different improvisations of the individual pieces at various concerts, which is good advice, first time to be cautious. And who would rather not for detailed liner notes to an interview, which is "1975 Live in Paris" better off with the -Issue once, which is currently valued fairly high price at Amazon.
