I am with the results, which provides the lens, very satisfied. From my perspective, it creates in conjunction with the NEX-6 very good photos in terms of contrast, color reproduction and sharpness. Cropping is still quite possible.
A quick insight was that without MF (manual focus) is almost nothing. In AF mode (Auto Focus), the camera too often on anything sharp, not only on the subject which you would have liked. In addition to MF then you have still the focus magnifying glass and the Focus Peaking available so that a tightly focused theme nothing more stands in the way.
In extreme motive short-range is a 1: 1 magnification ratio reaches what the use in animals (flight distance) restricts subsequently naturally.
The lens itself is relatively large (slightly larger than the kit lens SEL-P 1650 in the extended state). Since it is completely focused inside, it remains when focusing constant length. Quality of workmanship and material quality are beyond doubt. Good - the color of the lens (silver) and the NEX-Body (black) do not match. But if it would be important ...

Conclusion
A macro lens with excellent photographic results. Limitations I see rudimentary in the extreme close-up of micro-organisms.
Price / performance is very good overall. I would like to recommend the lens.
