System: Intel i5 2500K, 2x4GB Kingston 1600 Ram, Geforce 570
Immediately after unpacking noticed that the board is kept very simple but very classy. Nothing is exceptionally large, it is dominated by black and gray tones. The punches are all there where they belong, thus the board fit without problems in my case. In addition to driver CD and the cover for the rear connectors are two black SATA cables totaled: very basic, but who needs more?
The layout of the board is in my opinion succeeded: The RAMsteckplätze are far genugn held by the processor can be two bars (arrangement in the dual-channel) tuck without effort. The is the slot of the closest to the processor, it may be that a large cooler (my Großklockner Alpenfön does so) hidden him, so that you should install the Ramriegel front of the radiator and then also can not change without effort. If one has only two bolts or no large cooler, this is not a problem.
All the passive radiator, chips and capacitors on the board are all small enough that they do not also affect any sound card et cetera.
The bios on the board is good. For hardcore overclockers there are apparently few adjustment possibilities, but for the "Hobby-stroke" it should be enough. I still do not know from there, so if you bought the board for overclocking, should inform themselves then go.
The Board has the new UEFI BIOS which can be operated with the mouse, as far as the theory. In practice, the keyboard is much more comfortable. Disadvantage with this BIOS, the mouse control can not work in some mice (mouse axes reversed) with my Logitech MX518 was that way. The support turned out to be very pleasant and friendly: two days after my request to the mouse problem, they have the problem with me erklährt mice and a beta bios sent what adjusted exactly this problem.
The Board recognizes everything well so far, only the Ram I had to manually switch to 1600Mhz.
Furthermore, one should note that you need PWM fan for fan control, if you want to use this for. There are two 4-pin connectors and three 3-pin connectors. (4Pin = speed regulated // 3Pin = speed desem Board not adjustable) connects Who 3-pin connectors on the 4-pin connector can not change the fan speed also.
The motherboard connectors I need not say much (especially: USB 3, VGA, HDMI, DVI), which you can read all about on the manufacturing side, but what is striking that there is no e-SATA, which I personally find a pity.
What I very rarely in berrichten to motherboards read the boot-up times: Here at this board, it has struck me very positive that the period between the turn on to the actual loading Windows takes about 20 seconds and thus my system after 30 seconds is completely above. (SSD goodness)
My verdict: for all amateur overclockers out there, the board is a strong buy recommendation! Who never intends to overclock his CPU and does not play on PC, which was to look around for possibly a better board. Who has a water cooling system, and wants rauskizeln from each component its maximum, for is not the board enough. But if like me, from time to time and will daddelt be prepared for the future (higher CPU overclock, instead of buying new, PCIe 3.0) for which it is the board!
I'm Leif for my lousy sentence structure, I wanted to show just my opinion on this Board.
With regards freunlichen
