The positive aspects:
Driver support:
On my now running Windows XP, but Asus offers on its website also drivers for Windows Vista and Windows 7 on.
For which there is much to Asussoftware which is really helpful (eg Asus Multiframe).
Volume:
Very quiet comfortable working noise under full load you notice it easily, but does not interfere.
Power:
Very fast hard disk (at least one has the subjective impression that this is very fast). The processor is enough for work applications.
Battery life:
If you turn the screen brightness down a bit, so you really reached 4 - 5 hours an outstanding value
So now for the negatives:
Graphics card:
Intel graphics cards are already very leistungssschwach default. But the built-in this notebook has the memory dynamically (up to 256MB). This leads to a lousy variables result in dual monitor mode, since here is assigned hardly graphics memory. The colors look all washed out and pale, and there are visible streaks, so I could not fix by replacing the monitor or a driver update also. So if you want to use an external monitor, so this notebook is not highly recommended.
In addition, the weak graphics performance results when shooting video presentation software (such as Camtasia Studio or Adobe Captivate) to mouse flicker etc. - although> this call the user at the very least, but I just wanted to have mentioned it. Then I come to the next point:
Audio:
Audio recordings always produce a slight noise, could not find the reason for this also. But playing and sound represent no problems.
Prozesor:
Yes there is something negative to note the processor :). Intel built into these "cheap mobile processors" NOT your Intel-VT virtualization extension. This is the latest in Windows 7 Professional or higher to the problem if you want to start the Windows XP Mode. This fact requires the extension. Who needs this is better off with an AMD, there is everywhere a standard feature (AMD-V).
Conclusion:
For all those who recommended that do not just need the points that I have listed below negative.
